Annual Events

Annual events are celebrated in every Columbia Valley community. From the smallest hamlet to the largest town or city, we have our favorite annual celebrations that bring our communities together to just have fun. There are festivals, sporting events, markets, arts and cultural events, galas, music concerts, celebrations of our environment, national holidays and more – always something to look forward to.

Here are some of the annual events celebrated in Columbia Valley communities. Large or small, they draw friends and neighbors together to celebrate the uniquely beautiful tapestry that is East Kootenay culture.

If you see an event showing last year’s date, it means that the upcoming year’s dates have not yet been confirmed.
