Panorama Mountain Village

Just a 20-minute drive from Invermere, BC, Panorama Mountain Village in the Purcell Mountains is one of BC’s most popular ski and golf resorts. The Alpine Club of Canada named Panorama ‘Resort of the Year’ in 2011 in recognition of its total commitment to being the best family-focused mountain resort in Canada. It’s a perfect vacation destination for you and your family any time of the year.

Surrounded by some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery anywhere, the world-famous Greywolf Golf Course at Panorama Mountain Village draws golfers from every corner of the globe. If you love the sport, you’ll want to challenge the famous ‘Cliffhanger’ hole 6!

While you are planning on enjoying the adult activities at Panorama, sign up the junior members of the family for the PanoKids activity programs – Wee Wascals, Kids Club, specialty clubs such as sports camp, arts and drama camp and downhill mountain biking camp.

Cool off on a hot day at the Water Park with the water-slides, the shallow-entry cool pool and the hot tubs. In season, there are great family activities, too, such as campfires, sing-alongs, movie nights, crafts, archery, beach volleyball and tennis. Take the family alpine hiking, biking or ATV-ing in the mountains or white-water rafting on the beautiful blue-green waters of Toby Creek.

Located right in the heart of the powder highway, Panorama Mountain Village really shines in the winter, with lots of snow and hours and hours of sunshine. A true ski-in/ski-out resort, it boasts one of North America’s longest vertical descents and a fantastic variety of terrain.

Besides some of the best downhill skiing in the country, the resort also offers nordic skiing, show-shoeing, heli-skiing, tobogganing, dog-sledding and snowmobiling. The renowned Panorama Snow School caters to all ages and abilities with either group or private ski or snowboard lessons.
