Family Day Fireworks will mark the BC Family Day celebration at Panorama with a spectacular explosion of light and color at the mountain and everyone’s invited to come watch the sky and the mountain light the night sky over the resort.

The celebration will begin with a kid-friendly Glow Stick Parade through the Discovery Zone.

Then, after the chairlifts have been turned off, a moving Torchlight Parade of the Ski & Ride team and a group of volunteers will make its way down the Mile 1 from the top to the base.

When the last torchlight skier has reached the bottom, the Family Day Fireworks will begin.

Although exact times may change, here is the tentative schedule for the celebration:

• 7:45 PM – Glow Stick Parade
• 8:15 PM – Torchlight Parade
• 8:30 PM – the Family Day Fireworks display (presented by GlobalFest)
