it’s all about the word indeed!

It is promising to be a magical evening, when these two life-long friends come together to celebrate Words. It’s about music and the spoken word. Listen, enchanted, as they weave a magic spell with music and poetry.

Richard Therrien will read heart-felt poems from his ‘Sleeping in Tall Grass’ book of poetry,  “ … a cycle of poems looking at a family enfolded within the body of the Canadian prairie itself. Richard has made his amazing variety of life experiences and occupations a vital part of how he expresses himself as a writer.”

Bruce Childs will share’ unplugged’ selections from his “Far and Near” CD. “The poetic lyrics of Bruce’d songs reflect relationships, chance encounters and different physical environments, including rural, semi-rural, urban and natural environments.”

The doors open at 6:30 pm. Show begins at 7:00 pm. Optional donations at the door.

There will be a cash bar.
