DESCRIPTION:it's all about the word indeed!\n\nIt is promising to be a magical evening\, when these two life-long friends come together to celebrate Words. It’s about music and the spoken word. Listen\, enchanted\, as they weave a magic spell with music and poetry.\n\nRichard Therrien will read heart-felt poems from his ‘Sleeping in Tall Grass’ book of poetry\,  “ … a cycle of poems looking at a family enfolded within the body of the Canadian prairie itself. Richard has made his amazing variety of life experiences and occupations a vital part of how he expresses himself as a writer.”\n\nBruce Childs will share' unplugged' selections from his “Far and Near” CD. “The poetic lyrics of Bruce’d songs reflect relationships\, chance encounters and different physical environments\, including rural\, semi-rural\, urban and natural environments.”\n\nThe doors open at 6:30 pm. Show begins at 7:00 pm. Optional donations at the door.\n\nThere will be a cash bar.
