The Art By Kids silent auction will take place at J A Laird School over 3 days. Grade 5 students will be selling to the public, their hand-made canvas paintings in the school’s foyer.

The event is a fundraiser to assist the class ‘Building Beginning Microcredit Loan’ program which is teaching the students how to start with a creative idea and carry it through to becoming a full-fledged business. Teacher, Ms. Gauthier, began  the program with the class in 2014 and the silent auction is the fitting conclusion, the student’s choice for how to market their original canvas pieces.
