A Woman’s Work’ is a unique display – a celebration of everyday things. Part of the ongoing artist shows in the Gallery at Centre 64. The fascinating works on display are by Salt Spring Island artists Nicola Weston and Asha Robertson.

Nicola Weston
“I am a figurative and landscape artist living on Salt Spring Island. I come from a traditional background and training in painting —painting the figure from life and capturing the landscape plein air. Painting what I observe has challenged me for all of my adult life. Asha Robertson
“Asha Robertson’s practice explores both the two and three-dimensional. Her paintings are landscape derived exploring texture and medium referring back to her sculptural training. Robertson has an interdisciplinary approach to her sculpture. The Gallery at Centre 64 is open for you to view ‘ A Woman’s Work’ from Tuesday through Saturday from 1 to 5 pm. Admission is by donation.
