Centre 64 in Kimberley BC is a very unique multi-purpose art centre. The 124-seat theatre is the venue for live theatre performances. A beautiful 2-storey art gallery displays the works of painters and sculptors in continuous exhibitions during the year. Several studios provide space for such arts as dance, fibre arts and ceramics. Other rooms are used for workshops led by talented and knowledgeable instructors. There are also meeting rooms in the facility.
Always buzzing with creative people and activity, Centre 64 plays host to local and visiting artists and performers who love its energy.
Located in the heart of the city’s downtown, Centre 64 is the home of the Kimberley Arts Council which strives tirelessly to bring local artists together by providing an avenue for them to them to bring their special gifts into the public arena.
