Breakfast

If a hearty breakfast is your morning fare, bring home a dozen fresh eggs and a loaf of artisan bread from the farmers market. Add some local jams and jellies and some of that same delicious coffee. Sounds like it’s just the thing to get the day started in style!

On Sunday mornings, many of the local resorts have wonderful brunch buffets that dazzle the eye, and the food and drink will definitely satisfy the palate.

Lunch

Lunch at a delightful outdoor cafe or deli might appeal when you are browsing the art galleries or quaint boutiques. Or why not treat the kids to lunch at their favorite fast food place?

Dinner

Dinner time offers so many food and drink choices that you may have a hard time making up your mind. The kids want take-out pizza and they vow it is the best they’ve ever tasted!

There are many upscale eating establishments where you can sit back and listen to a live music ensemble while you enjoy your meal. Perhaps you’d like to gaze out at a breathtaking view of the mountains beyond a stretch of golf-course green. How about an elegant meal, beautifully prepared and served in an historic old house? Or, in winter, you could sit by a crackling fire in a mountain lodge while you sip an apres-ski drink or enjoy hearty northern cuisine as you watch the skiers on the slopes.

Evening

There’s a band playing at one of the local pubs and you decide to go check it out. Great music, friendly people and you try a locally-brewed beer or an award-winning local wine. On the way home, stop at a cold beer and wine store and pick up a six-pack to take back with you.
