Invermere Pickleball Club
The Invermere Pickleball Club is a diverse group of pickleball players which had its beginning in 2014 with 4 enthusiastic members and has grown to more than 40 locals, summer residents, snowbirds, and visitors participating. They are a non-profit club with a goal of introducing people to the sport of pickleball in a friendly, active environment.
You do not have to join the Invermere Pickleball Club in order to play. Visitors, regardless of ability, are welcome. They even offer free learn-to-play sessions.
They play both indoors and outdoors.
Outdoors: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from May to October at the Pine Ridge Courts. Courts are FREE to everyone.
Indoors: Monday from 7 to 9 pm at the DTSS (high school) gym. There is a $5 drop-in charge. Currently, they are searching for a winter daytime indoor venue.
They also play at other times through a contact email list.
Memberships: $50 per season October – May (first session free)
They also have an annual fun tournament outdoors the 3rd week of September and an indoor tournament the 3rd week of April and plans are underway for inter-club games with the Golden pickleball group.
