Wilder Memorial Park townhall meeting
Jul 2, 2016 2:00 pm| Free
The Fairmont & District Lions Club invites all full-time and part-time residents of Fairmont Hot Springs to attend a Wilder Memorial Park townhall meeting. We want to hear your ideas for the development of a new recreational park in our community. The Wilder Family and the Fairmont Resort have generously donated a 2-acre parcel of land to the Lions Club. It is located at the southwest end of Wills Road and is zoned for recreation purposes.
The Fairmont & District Lions Club’s mandate is to be of service to the community and to undertake projects that benefit the community. For this reason, the donors chose the club to undertake this project. We are exploring options and seeking community resident input. We want to identify potential and preferred community and recreational uses for this currently vacant land.
A two page survey has been mailed to all residents this week and there will be two Wilder Memorial Park townhall Meetings at the Fairmont Lions Community Centre. If you are unable to attend this first meeting, we look forward to seeing you at the next one later in the month.
Bring your survey along with you to the meeting or:
- Scan and email to: ac.wa1510961408hs@sa1510961408lkbi1510961408

- Drop off at the Tourism Booth in the Fairmont Village Mall.
- Drop off at the Fairmont Lions Community Centre.
The results of the survey are anticipated to be published in September.
