The Stolen Church: a Musical Mystery Theatre Production is a stage play written by Helen Kipp with music by Barry Moore, both local residents.

Have you ever wondered about the history behind that beautiful little church building in Windermere, BC? Come to see the production of “The Stolen Church” at the church itself. It’s a tale of love, intrigue and crime in the days of the pioneers of the Columbia Valley, at once romantic, almost unbelievable and definitely fun.

As you sit in one of the pews, you will travel back in time, almost imagining yourself there as Celina Kimpton bemoans the loss of her home church and, Rufus, her husband, determines to steal the church and bring it to their new home in Windermere. “The Stolen Church: a Musical Mystery” is a rollicking tale that you’ll be remembering for a long time to come.
