This square dance weekend at the Invermere Seniors Hall is not just for seniors – it’s for everyone, young and not-quite as young! It’s a great way to introduce every member of the family to this fun recreational sport.

The event will be hosted by the Columbia Valley Twirlers and the callers will be Rick and Kathy Utter of Moyie Springs, Idaho. Even if you’ve never square danced in your life, Rick and Kathy will soon have you allemanding left and swinging your partner like a pro!

There’s dancing on Friday evening at 8 pm, Saturday afternoon at 1 pm and Saturday evening at 7:30 pm. Come for one dance or all three.

Cost per person:

• Friday evening – $8
• Saturday afternoon – $4
• Saturday evening – $10
• The whole weekend package – $20
