‘The Polar Express’ at the Wildhorse Theatre

The Polar Express, the treasured Christmas classic film, has become an annual family tradition at Fort Steele and will once again be shown in the Wildhorse Theatre this month. Everyone’s invited to a pyjama party with hot cocoa and sugar cookies being served, just like the movie! So plan on wearing your favorite cozy pj’s and joining the fun!

A bit of background info

The Polar Express (2004) is a 3D animated musical fantasy film based on a 1985 children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. It features human characters which are animated with a then novel process called live action performance capture. Tom Hanks plays 6 different roles in the movie. Other starring roles are played by Daryl Sabara, Nona Gaye, Jimmy Bennett and Eddie Deezen, plus a performance by a young Tinashe. The film grossed $307 worldwide and is listed in the Guinness World Book of Records as the first all-digital capture film.
