The Nipika Toby Creek Nordic Loppet Weekend is one of the most popular annual wintertime events on the calendars of cross-country skiers in the Columbia Valley.  The whole family can participate, the scenery is spectacular and the company second to none.

Nipika Mountain Resort and the Toby Creek Nordic club partner this spectacular weekend of Nordic in January each year. The trails are excellent, always beautifully groomed, which makes for some of the best skiing anywhere!

Saturday – there are classic races with distances from 30km  to 1km so everyone of every age and ability can have fun. Saturday’s race is part of the Kootenay Cup series.

Sunday –  participate in skate races from 25km to 1km.

There’s a delicious barbecue for everyone and prizes at the end of the weekend.
