This Locomotive Ghost concert will be part of their promotional tour to celebrate their fourth full-length release, Into the Glow.

The group was originally formed by singer Mike Buckley and bassist Ben Nixon as students of Selkirk College’s music program in Nelson, BC. A year later they named themselves after an Allen Ginsberg poem and later, after graduation, moved to Calgary and added two more members to their number.

Produced by award-winners Russell Broom and Spencer Cheyne,  Into the Glow melds earnest expression with contemporary folk music stylings and relateable indie-pop hooks.

Guest artist for the concert is popular, Kootenay-based singer-songwriter/acoustic guitarist Oliver McQuaid.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at Centre 64 or online at: http://locomotiveghost.com/shows.

Wine and beer will be available by donation to Centre 64’s ‘Give us a Lift’ campaign

For more information, watch videos and listen to their music at: http://locomotiveghost.com
