Lisa Nicole, BC Country Music Association Female Vocalist Nominee and winner of the Artist Development Project, will be centre stage at Kimberley’s Centre 64 this week with her banner EP, “Come Find Me.”

The artist, who has become the darling of the west coast country music scene, has combined story-telling with her unique modern country sound to earn recognition and admiration from her many thousands of fans and respect from her peers in the music industry.

Lisa’s country upbringing in the mountain community of Castlegar, BC, gave her a love of all things outdoors. She camped, fished, hunted and grew to love country music at an early age. From the time she was a teenager, she was singing in local bars in the Kootenay area. At Selkirk College, she completed a Songwriting and Performance diploma with a Major in Vocals. And the rest is history, as they say, with performances on the stages of such events as:

• Sunfest, Rockin’ River Fest
• The Calgary Stampede
• Sturgis North Music Fest
• Canadian Music Week
• the Cloverdale Rodeo
