The Fisher Peak Winter Ale Concert Series is presenting a Jenny Allen concert at the Key City Theatre.

If you like the sound of dynamic folk rock, with a twist of rootsy blues, this concert is for you! Jenny’s outstanding vocals, instrumentation and strong writing skills have caught the attention of major folk festivals and clubs all over Canada and the US.

Jenny, who hails, originally, from Alberta, has opened for acclaimed artists, including Taj Mahal and Shawn Colvin, and her independent CDs have garnered rave reviews. The singer/songwriter is famous for winning over audiences with her raw candor and crazy wit as well as her direct, emotional song-writing and performance.

Opening for Jenny, will be Dave Prinn, whom Rod Wilson, photographer, musician and blog-writer, calls the nearest modern-day equivalent to the ancient troubadours.
