“Grandma” is the last Cinefest film of the season. The comedy/drama stars Lily Tomlin in the role of Grandma Elle, a lesbian poet grieving the recent death of her long-time life partner. Elle receives a visit from her granddaughter, Sage, who tells her grandmother that she is pregnant and wants $630 for an abortion. Since both Grandma and Elle are broke, they embark on a road trip to come to terms with their troubles. The story is about inter-generational relationships and how our past is never really left behind. The film is suitable for all ages.
