The Big Band Dance is 34 years old this month when the high school stage band will be serenading the community. It’s a great night out so shine up your dancing shoes and come celebrate the occasion!

According to band teacher, the purpose for the Big Band Dance is three-fold:

• To raise funds for the high school bands
• To maintain a long tradition
• To give music students at the high school level a taste of what it is like to be a real musician

The program for the evening is as follows:

• 7:30 pm – Cocktails served
• 8:00 pm – Dancing begins
• 10:15 pm – Buffet served (dinner catered by Randy MacSteven)
