DESCRIPTION:The Big Band Dance is 34 years old this month when the high school stage band will be serenading the community. It's a great night out so shine up your dancing shoes and come celebrate the occasion!\n\nAccording to band teacher\, the purpose for the Big Band Dance is three-fold:\n\n \tTo raise funds for the high school bands\n \tTo maintain a long tradition\n \tTo give music students at the high school level a taste of what it is like to be a real musician\n\nThe program for the evening is as follows:\n\n \t7:30 pm - Cocktails served\n \t8:00 pm - Dancing begins\n \t10:15 pm - Buffet served (dinner catered by Randy MacSteven)\n\nAdvance tickets only are available at:\n\n \tLambert-Kipp Pharmacy\n \tMajestic U-Brew\n \tsenior stage band student\n \tby calling 250-342-9213 ext 136\n\n\n[the_ad_placement id="invermere-in-content"]
