This abstract acrylic workshop will be a two-day class with well-known East Kootenay artist and Headwaters Art Society member, Paula Cravens.

On Friday, April 28th, the evening before the actual Adventures in Abstract Acrylic workshop begins, there will be a wine and cheese reception in the lobby of the Lodge at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort with an opportunity to view Paula’s art which will be on display. The public is welcome to attend and may purchase wine tickets at the front desk.

Included in the cost of the workshop are:

• all materials
• choice of lunches
• coffee, tea and snacks
• 2 wine tickets for the Friday evening reception

There will be demonstrations in stamps, tape transfers, gelli prints and the mounting watercolor paper to board.

Paula will be discussing composition, focal points and color theory and students will paint, paint, paint!

Cost for the workshop is $180 and payment is due at registration. Class size will be a maximum of 12 students and early registration is advised.
