Canal Flats Events

Canal Flats events come in every kind of fun imaginable. Although the village is small, the hearts of its people are huge and the community spirit strong, so when there’s a community event on the horizon, either annual or a one-time thing, many hands pitch in to make it a success. Family is important to Canal Flats folks so a great many of the events each year are planned with everyone in mind.

Two dedicated committees, the Canal Flats Civic Centre Committee and the Canal Flats Community Society, plan and host such Canal Flats events as the weekly Bingo Night, the annual Curling Funspiel, the Canal Flats Fall Fair and Artisan Market, a Halloween family dance, the Christmas Fair, a community Christmas party, the much-loved Canal Days and the brand-new Flats Fest, with more than 500 visitors enjoying live bands from near and far in its very first year!
