Invermere Art Walk
Invermere Art Walk is a weekly summertime celebration of the incredibly diverse arts and cultural community in which we live and play. Artists and artisans, inspired by its magnificent mountain vistas and sparkling blue lakes, create beautiful art in all its forms. Why not spend a pleasurable afternoon or evening or two on an Invermere Art Walk? Stroll around town to discover or re-discover art by visiting some of the galleries that showcase these treasures.
Come on an Art Walk…
Every Friday during the summer months, several Invermere art galleries will welcome you from noon until evening as you enjoy an Invermere Art Walk. Pick up a Passport and map at any one of the participating galleries and get it stamped at each of the galleries to win prizes from local businesses within the community.
You can choose to visit all the art galleries in one grand adventure, starting, perhaps, at the Deanna Gauthier Boutique and Gallery and ending at Pynelogs Cultural Centre and Art Gallery. Or you can visit one or two each week, making for a fun weekly outing for the whole family. Each gallery will be offering a variety of attractions, from live music and ‘meet-the-artists’ to local restaurant food tastings and live demonstrations.
