Breastfeeding Mamas is a FREE monthly peer support group for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. It’s an opportunity to connect with other mothers, get accurate information about various topics of special interest, encourage and receive encouragement and support others.

We meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday in the Children’s Corner at the Invermere Public Library and welcome all mothers who are on a similar journey. Breastfeeding peer support has been found to make a huge difference for breastfeeding families. Families who have this type of support breastfeed longer, achieving more of their breastfeeding goals.

The Invermere program is made possible by Columbia Basin Trust, RDEK, Community Connections Society of SE BC, Over the Rainbow Family Services and the Invermere Public Library.
