Kimberley Nature Park is one of the largest municipal parks in the country. At 800 hectares (1,800 acres), the park boasts a varied terrain and diverse ecosystems plus miles and miles of multi-use trails through forests and along old mining roads. The park offers dozens of opportunities for education and recreation. Pets are allowed off-leash on the trails as long as they are well-behaved.
