The K2 Ranch is the oldest working cattle ranch in the Columbia Valley, dating back to 1898. The present owners of the ranch still run 300 head of cattle on 9,500 acres of the property and have worked to restore the land and the buildings to their former glory.

The ranch is located along Westside Road between Windermere and Fairmont Hot Springs BC.

Originally, the property was an undisturbed habitat for wild species of birds, fish and wildlife but was badly damaged at an earlier time by the logging industry.  It has been, and continues to be, undergoing a major restoration in partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

The K2 Ranch features a magnificent barn which is the venue for many country-themed social events such as barn dances, barbecues, fundraisers, weddings, etc. The location offers spectacular views of the  Canadian Rocky Mountains, vast spaces, and clear blue sky.
