Columbia Valley & East Kootenay
Baker Park is a lovely 7-acre green space in the heart of Cranbrook BC, adjacent to Mount Baker RV Park and St. James Creek, and close by many residential neighborhoods.
Surrounded by tall trees and with a portion of the Rotary Trail running through it, the park is a favorite spot for picnicking in the summer months, and with an outdoor public rink in winter, it’s usually busy year-round.
The park was named for Colonel James Baker, an early settler in Cranbrook. Colonel Baker played an important role in making Cranbrook the trading centre for the East Kootenay region.
Baker Park is a picturesque venue for wedding photos and large group events. For further inquiries about Baker Park or to book the venue for your special occasion, call the Cranbrook Parks Department or send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
