Parks and Beaches in the Columbia Valley
Parks, the sheer number and wide variety of them, are some of the reasons why visitors return again and again to the Columbia Valley. Situated as it is, between two mountain ranges, the Rockies and the Purcells, we are blessed with parks in every size and shape.
From the largest being Kootenay National Park at Radium Hot Springs, to the many provincial parks throughout the entire region, to the smallest green spaces within our towns and villages, the area is blessed with an almost unlimited choice of places to enjoy the great outdoors.
