The Windermere Valley Child Care Society (WVCCS) is a registered not-for-profit organization that operates Invermere’s primary daycare facility in a a play-based centre that was formerly a school for elementary-aged children. The facility is situated at the top of the hill leading into the downtown section of Invermere, overlooking the valley, the Athalmer district and the museum.

Programs:

The society offers programs for children in the Windermere Valley from birth to school age as follows:

• Infant and Toddler care from 0 to 36 months
• Group Care for children from 3 to 5 years
• Pre-school programs for both 3 year-olds and 4 year-olds
• An after-school program for school-aged children

There is a large, protected play area outdoors.
