Are you having problems with the local bear population in your neighborhood and in your yard?  If you are, you are not alone.  Many local people are at a loss to know how to protect their livestock, chickens, vegetable gardens and fruit trees from marauding bears.

WildSafeBC knows that “good fences make good neighbors” and is offering a FREE workshop with expert Gillian Sanders from Kaslo. Gillian will share her knowledge and techniques for properly setting up and maintaining an electric fence. They have proven very effective in protecting local food sources from bears and other wildlife.

For more information about the electric fence workshop and to register, contact Andrea at 250-409-4712 or send an email to: invermere@wildsafebc.com

The event will take place at the Invermere WildSafeBC office in the Service BC building across from the firehall.
