The ‘Weaving from the Wild’ workshop invites the participants to explore their creativity, using natural materials straight from our local environment. Shuswap elder, Verna Stevens demonstrates how to make a ponderosa pine needle basket the way the indigenous people have done for thousands of years.

And the bonus? You get to take home your basket!

The event will take place upstairs at Pynelogs Cultural Centre.
