A RESP Information event is being joint-hosted by Family Dynamix and Kootenay Savings Credit Union at the Invermere Legion.

For those of us who don’t exactly know what an RESP is, here’s what Wikipedia has to say about it:

It’s a “Registered Education Savings Plan. It’s an investment vehicle used by parents to save for their children’s post-secondary education in Canada. The principal advantages of RESPs are the access to the Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG) and a source of tax-deferred income.”

The event includes dinner and door prizes provided by KSCU.
