New STEAM programs at the library! The Invermere Public Library is offering two new  programs to make learning fun for school-aged children.

What is STEAM?

• S stands for Science
• T stands for Technology
• E stands for Engineering
• A stands for Art
• M stands for Math

It is a great way to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through activities and games. Each program is appropriate to the learning level of the children:

“From Science to Arts” is for children in grades 4 to 7

• Weekly on Wednesdays from October 11 to November 23
• Time – From 3:30 to 5:00 pm

“You Didn’t Know it was Science!” is for children in kindergarten to grade 3

• Weekly on Fridays from October 13 to November 24 (except November 10)
• Time – From 3:30 to 5:00 pm
