Fernie Griz Days is the Elk Valley’s huge annual winter carnival, a 3-day celebration of winter, with lots of family-friendly events and great entertainment in honor of The Griz, whose legend you will find at: https://tourismfernie.com/history/legends-myths

You can participate in the various events throughout the downtown and at Fernie Alpine Resort, or you can be part of the cheering crowd, but whichever you choose, you can let down your hair and just have fun!

Some of the Fernie Griz Days events are FREE and some are not but there’s something to make every age and every budget happy.
