Yes, there will still be a Santa Claus parade in Golden this year, but it’s now being organized by the Golden Agricultural Society.

Come and join the fun! The parade will be on December 9 at 5:30 pm. Then from 6:30 until 9 pm there will be festivities in Spirit Square, including a dance, time with Santa, homemade cookies and hot chocolate, and a fire.

There will be first, second, and third-place awards for the best all-round floats, based on a festival theme, originality/creativity, personalization, Christmas spirit, and a uniquely Golden element.

Please help support this important community event. The agricultural society has taken over as organizer of this event on short notice and needs to raise money for lights, garlands, tree stands and other decorations to make the parade a success.
