“Bee” Creative with Wildsight Invermere as we join forces with Black Star Studios, and Upper Ranch Apiary for a child-centered workshop all about bees.

Visit the historical Upper Ranch and discover the world of the honey bees. Beekeeper Rick Tegart will guide you through assembly of a beehive, learning how honey bee colonies produce honey and observing honey bees at work. Dianna Tegart will teach you about the production and refining of beeswax and then you will make a beeswax tea light candle. Black Star Studios will lead you in making a beautiful bee craft to take home. There will also be an opportunity for honey tasting. See, hear, taste, smell and touch! And Bee Creative!

This workshop is suitable for children ages 5 plus.

Cost: $20 for each person who wishes to participate in crafts
