Community spirit is one of the defining characteristics of Columbia Valley residents. A new organization,  the Columbia Valley Community Foundation,  is endeavoring to recognize the unique talents that each Columbia Valley volunteer has to share. They want to utilize to the best possible extent, these abilities of time, goodwill, resources, creativity, finances, ideas, and all the many other ways that volunteers make things happen.

in order to accomplish that purpose, the foundation has been created to grow their endowment funds through donations and grants. They raise money,  connect donors with charities  and causes and also help visionary donors create legacy funds for organizations that are in line with their own goals and aspirations.

Lack of funding is and always has been, a determining factor in a volunteer organization’s operating to its maximum potential. The Columbia Valley Community Foundation is working to make a difference in the success of Columbia Valley volunteers.
