DESCRIPTION:Were you not able to attend the first Wilder Memorial Park townhall meeting? Here's your opportunity to get in on the planning of the new community recreational park in our community.\n\nThe Fairmont & District Lions Club invites all full-time and part-time residents of Fairmont Hot Springs to attend a town hall meeting. We want to hear your ideas for the development of the Wilder Memorial Park in our community.  The Wilder Family and the Fairmont Resort have generously donated a 2-acre parcel of land to the Lions Club. It is located at the southwest end of Wills Road and is zoned for recreation purposes.\n\nThe Fairmont & District Lions Club's mandate is to be of service to the community and to undertake projects that benefit the community. For this reason\, the donors chose the club to undertake this project. We are exploring options and seeking community resident input. We want to identify potential and preferred community and recreational uses for this currently vacant land.\n\nA two page survey has been mailed to all residents this week and there will be two Town Hall Meetings at the Fairmont Lions Community Centre.
