The Invermere Wild and Scenic Film Festival is returning for the 4th year, always a highlight with local film-goers, adventurers and environmentalists in our community. This event is also the year’s major fundraiser for Wildsight.

The international film festival is touring 150 cities and towns in North America, focusing attention on environmental issues of concern to each local community.  Such topics as energy, biodiversity, climate change, and the protection of wild areas may be highlighted.  Film-makers, celebrities and leading environmentalists will have you on the edge of your seat as you kayak the wildest rivers and climb the highest peaks across the world.  Whatever your experience, you will definitely be inspired to seek ways to make a difference within your own community.

Doors open at 5 pm

Films start at 6 pm.

At the Invermere Wild and Scenic Film Festival, expect:
