SUMMARY:Celebrate Victoria Day at Fort Steele
DESCRIPTION:The Victoria Day celebration at Fort Steele is a great family event each year. It's an old-fashioned family social on the lawn by the gazebo\, overlooked by the Steeples Mountain Range and Fisher Peak.\n\nThere will be live music and games. Pack an old-fashioned picnic lunch or plan to eat at the International Hotel or the City Bakery.\n\nAnd don't forget to bring the camera to capture those family memories!\n\nPS. The photo for this event is of the Victoria Monument just outside Buckingham Palace in St. James Park. It memorialized the death of Queen Victoria in 1901. The winged figure represents Victoria\, the goddess of victory\, and a symbol of victory over death.
