SUMMARY:Remembrance Day Ceremony in Invermere
DESCRIPTION:The Remembrance Day Ceremony is hosted each year by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #71 in Invermere. A solemn procession begins at 10:30 AM at the Legion on 13th Street and moves through the downtown area to Cenotaph Park where the official ceremony begins. Everyone is welcome to join with us as we pause to remember all who have given their lives in previous wars\, especially the Columbia Valley residents who were our own sons and daughters\, fathers and friends. The ceremony concludes with the laying of the wreaths at the Cenotaph.\n\nEveryone is encouraged to join with the Invermere community.
