DESCRIPTION:The public is invited to attend an opioid overdose presentation in the Cedar Room at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.\n\nSpeaker Jeff Burko\, the executive director of PEAK Emergency Response Training\, will be talking to us about "The Dangers of Opioid Overdose"\, which the police\, medical professionals\, and media are referring to as an 'epidemic' in BC.\n\nOur community has been touched by this ongoing crisis and we do not want to sit quietly and do nothing\, so please attend the presentation and get informed and educated. We need to protect ourselves\, our loved ones and our community.\n\nPlease pass this message on to your friends and family. If this presentation can stop an overdose then we are doing our job.
