DESCRIPTION:A Norm Macdonald community appreciation event is being held at Strand's Old House Restaurant in Invermere and anyone who wants to wish him well as he leaves his office as a veteran MLA for our area is welcome to drop in between the hours of 4 and 7 PM.\n\nAs a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party representing the Columbia River riding\, Norm became an MLA in 2005 and was re-elected in both the 2009 and the 2013 provincial elections\, serving as critic several times and was also a member of various committees.\n\nJoin us as we give a warm Norm Macdonald community appreciation send-off to this popular member of the Columbia Valley.
