DESCRIPTION:Michael Charles\, Blues Hall of Fame award-winner\, is\, once again on the road with his 'All I Really Know Tour 2017' and Columbia Valley audiences will have a chance to hear him live at the Horsethief Creek Pub & Eatery in Radium Hot Springs!\n\nThe legendary artist began a musical pilgrimage in his home country of Melbourne\, Australia\, touring\, recording and appearing on Australian TV and radio. But his talent couldn't be ignored by the world at large and soon an invitation to Chicago brought him across the big pond to appear with Buddy Guy.\n\nTraveling back and forth eventually became tedious so Michael made the decision to make a permanent move to the US and for the next 20 years\, he performed with Phil Guy\, James Cotton\, Eddy Clearwater\, Junior Wells\, George Baze and blues legend\, Jimmy Dawkins. During that time he distinguished himself with:\n\n \t8 Grammy-elected artist awards\n \tnumerous television and radio broadcasts and several music magazine articles\n \tstage appearances at the Chicago Blues Fest\, Philadelphia Jazz and Blues Fest\, Windy City Live Television\, WGN TV\, JBTV\, The Chicago Tribune\, The Chicago Sun Times\, and The College Music Journal\n\nIn 2015 Michael Charles  was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.\n\nDiscography:\n\n \t32 releases including a double CD thirty year anthology released in 2014 and the live CD “Concert at the Nest”\, released in the winter of 2015.\n\nThe 2017  'All I Really Know Tour' is his 10th and his stop at the Horsethief will be a very special treat for valley blues lovers.\n\n(text courtesy of his website)\n\nFor more about Michael Charles\, visit his website at: http://michaelcharles.us/index/
