DESCRIPTION:The March Against Monsanto is one of the largest annual protests in the world. Millions are preparing to march together on May 21st to raise awareness and bring about the change that our world so desperately needs. It’s happening everywhere simultaneously!\n\nThe 3rd annual Cranbrook March Against Monsanto event will take place at Baker Park. It’s a peace-loving\, family-friendly event. Kids and pets can dress up as bees and butterflies and\, if you have a t-shirt with an earth-friendly slogan\, wear it too.\n\nA fun day has been planned\, with a new route for the march and over $300 in great non-GMO prizes donated by local businesses. There will be balloons for the younger crowd and a sign-making station – or bring your own! And a fabulous FREE draw. From 11AM until noon\, we’ll enjoy some socializing and then the march through downtown will take about 1 1/2 hours.\n\nTune in to the event’s facebook page for updates as they come in and let’s get out there and let Monsanto know that we’ve had enough – more than enough – and we mean business!\n\nAn added bit of nasty trivia for you.
