SUMMARY:Kinsmen Fishing Derby
DESCRIPTION:The Kinsmen Fishing Derby is 18 years old this January! Proceeds from the fun winter event help the Kinsmen Club of the Windermere Valley continue to serve the community through their many projects during the year.\n\nEntry fee is $35 per person. Registration starts at 8:00am at The Station Pub\, with and competition begins at 9:00am on the ice of Lake Windermere at Kinsmen Beach.\n\nThere are cash prizes to be won! Depending upon the number of entries in the event\, the angler who lands the biggest catch-of-the-day will go home approximately $500 richer! The second prize winner will pocket about $300 and the third biggest fish will net about $200 for the lucky catcher. Prizes will be handed out at the Station Pub afterward. In the event of a tie\, the cash will be shared.\n\nEveryone is invited to participate - it's a really fun event for the whole family. And\, folks\, there are lots of other prizes to be won as well\, donated by generous business owners.
