SUMMARY:Invermere Young Hearts Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The focus of the Invermere Young Hearts Triathlon for children ages 4 to 15 is enjoyment and participation.  Awards will be presented to every participant upon crossing the finish line.  Times will be recorded for each child and posted by age category on our website as soon after the event as possible.\n\nThe venue for the event is Kinsmen Beach and the immediate area locally known as Fort Point in Invermere\, BC. The race course is safe and contained (only one access and exit point) in a quiet neighborhood with very light vehicular traffic.  There are six age categories (4-5\, 6-7\, 8-9\, 10-11\, 12-13\, and 14-15). The course distances will not exceed distances as set out by Triathlon Canada for KOS events and will be made up by repeating the run & cycle distances. The Young Hearts Triathlon is sanctioned by Triathlon British Columbia.
