SUMMARY:Invermere Heart of the Rockies Duathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Invermere Heart of the Rockies Duathlon inaugural event will take place in tandem with the Triathlon\, open Run Races and the Gran Fondo and will start beside the bike transition at James Chabot Provincial Park in Invermere.\n\nChoose from:\n\n \tthe Individual Sprint (5km Run / 20km Bike / 5km Run)\n \tthe Individual Standard (10km Run / 40km Bike / 10km Run)\n\nInformation about the race courses is found at: http://heartoftherockiestri.ca/triathlon-8-2-3-2-2/\n\nPlease note: Race day insurance is mandatory for all competitors except TriBC\, ATA\, or STC members holding valid memberships on race day. All participants must show either a valid photo I.D. membership card upon request or pay the additional race day insurance fee. Sorry\, no exceptions. Race day insurance for non-members in the Junior Team Sprint is $5.00 per person. Race day insurance for all non-members in the individual and team events is $15.00 per person.\n\nEntry fees do not include t-shirt\n\nRegistration for both the Individual sprint and the Individual Standard events is online at:  http://heartoftherockiestri.ca/triathlon-9-2-2/?preview_nonce=9d0c30abec&preview=true\n\nNote: The entry fee does not include the cost of a t-shirt. During online registration\, quality souvenir Heart of the Rockies T-shirts may be purchased for $18.00 (including taxes) only until the deadline. The deadline to order t-shirts is 4 weeks prior to race day to allow time for printing & delivery.\n\nThere are 3 tiers of entry fees:\n\n \tApril 1 to May 31\n \tJune 1 to June 30\n \tJuly 1 to event date\n\nPlease be aware that changes to your registration information must be received 10 days prior to race day in order that we may focus on critical race day preparations. Teams may substitute a team member but please note that this could mean a change in the age group and category.
