The day's event line-up will feature something to suit every member of the family.\n\nAn all-new Live Theatre Production will be playing in our air-conditioned Wildhorse Theatre\, so come on in – beat the heat and enjoy a rompin' good comedy!\n\nHop on the wagon and take a ride to the City Bakery for all kinds of tasty\, home-made treats\, fresh from the brick oven.\n\nAnd there's more! The idea was discarded\, though\, because it was already a name being used in the South Pacific. The name ‘British Columbia’ came from the Columbia River and also the south part of the colony at that time bore the name. It became official by proclamation in 1858.\n\n*** British Columbia has several provincial symbols – some you may already know like the provincial flag and the provincial coat of arms\, but there are some surprises in the list.
